Businesses should defy Wolf

This is in response to Gov. Wolf taking action against small businesses whodefied his most recent shutdown orders (The Morning Call, Dec. 23).

First of all, shame on Tom Wolf for forcing them to close in the first place. And good for those businesses defying the order; all need to follow suit. The big box stores such as Walmart and Target stores are crowded with people violating social distancing rules. But still those stores are allowed to remain open.

I’d like to think that most adults, even though not always correct, are capable of making decisions of their own, such as whether or not it is safe to dine out.
