Held Patricia Anne (Wade) Girling Sandy Lee (Roberts) Hamm In loving memory, Elmer J. Held, 87, of Allentown, passed away on Thursday, December 31, 2020 in Lehigh Valley Hospital – Cedar Crest. He was the husband of the late Nancy L. (Blefko) Held, who died in 2017. Born in Philadelph­ia, he was the son of the late Vera (Cotsack) and Elmer J. Held, Sr. Elmer was a graduate of Allentown High School and served his country honorably in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He was a self-employed mechanic and owned Held's Auto Sales for many years. Elmer enjoyed being outdoors – he was a “profession­al” fisherman, hunted and liked to garden. He also loved tinkering with computers. Survivors: Sons, William J. Held and his wife Lori of Emmaus and Robert W. Held of Allentown; daughters, Robin L. Held of Laurys Station, Nance L. Held of Salisbury, MD and Julee J. Held of Brooklyn, NY; sister, Carol Ann Held of Brooklyn, NY; 6 grandchild­ren and 2 great-grandchild­ren. Elmer was preceded in death by a sister Elizabeth Lindstrom. Services: Private interment at Resurrecti­on Cemetery in Wescosvill­e. Arrangemen­ts are entrusted to the K.V. Patricia Anne Girling passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 29th, 2020 at St. Luke's Hospital, Bethlehem, PA, surrounded by her husband, Peter, daughter, Anna, and grandson, Dominic, after succumbing to a long battle with interstiti­al lung disease. She was born in Dublin, Ireland on February 14th, 1946 and it seems fitting she was born on Valentine's Day because she loved life so much. Whether it was traveling around the world with her husband of almost fifty years, or spending time with her family and friends, she did everything with a fierce passion and a gentle heart. She loved the arts, and spent much time giving back to the Allentown Art Museum through SOTA. She was an amazing wife, an extraordin­ary mum and grandma, and an exceptiona­l woman. She was generous in life and, as an organ donor, generous in death. She will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her including her loving husband Peter, her children Philippa (Joe Fiorentino), Anna (Seth Burg), Katherine, Simon and Siobhan, her grandchild­ren Allison, Andrew, Dominic, Holly, Hayley, Leah and Tegwen, her greatgrand­child Lily, and her vast family in Ireland and England, including her sister and brother, Aileen and Tommy Wade. There will be no arrangemen­ts at this time, but we will celebrate her life together when it is safe to do so. 69 years of age and resident of Ormond Beach, FL, formerly of New Tripoli, PA, beloved wife, passed away December 23, 2020 in the Advent Health Hospital, Dayton Beach. She was the wife of Kerry D. Hamm. They celebrated their 45th Wedding Anniversar­y in October. She was born in Allentown on the 4th of July to the late Griffith and Fay (Anthony) Roberts. A former member of Hope Lutheran Church, Cherryvill­e. Sandy volunteere­d to raise money for United Cerebral Palsy and St Jude Children's Research Hospital. She worked at Paris Neckwear in Walnutport, Hess's Department Store, Holiday Hair and retiring from the New Tripoli Bank. She was proceeded in death by her beloved Teddy, her Aunt and Uncle, Renae and Franklin Ruch, Fern Anthony, and her loving grandmothe­r Anna Anthony(Minnich) and Ed Anthony all of Danielsvil­le. Survivors: sisters, Connie wife of Louis Cuellar, Terry wife of Richard Oswald and Rochelle Bellis. Also Nieces and Nephews, Phillip Oswald, Kyle Bellis, Ashley Altemose, Aften, Christophe­r, Colin Hamm and two Great Nieces. Hand Please sign Guest Book on www.themorning­ Jeanne B. Hand, 89, of Allentown passed away on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 in Lehigh Valley Inpatient Hospice in Allentown. She was the wife of the late Clyde O. Hand, who died in 1997. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Earl W. and Evelyn M. (Bleam) Held. J eanne was a graduate of Allen High School and Kutztown University. She was a first-grade teacher at Roosevelt, Sheridan and Dodd Elementary Schools in the Allentown School District for more than 30 years, before retiring. J eanne was a member of St. Mark Evangelica­l Lutheran Church in Allentown and was a long time member of the Ladies Auxiliary at the Fearless Fire Company. She loved to travel with the Senior Group, enjoyed Broadway musicals, visiting Disney World, playing cards and going to the beach. Survivors: Daughters, Patricia Wilburn and her husband Eric of Allentown, Sharon Fritchman and her husband John of Nazareth and Karen Wills and her husband Timothy of Bethlehem; son-in-law, Tony Bonanni of Allentown; 6 grandchild­ren, Katie, Anne, Gabi, Austin, Logan and Owen. J eanne was preceded in death by a daughter Cathy Bonanni and brother Joseph Held. Services: A visitation for relatives and friends will be held from 10-11 AM on Friday, January 8, 2021 in the K.V. Olga Hoysan Lillian Florence Goldner Olga Hoysan, 88, of Bethlehem, died on January 1, 2021 at Phoebe Personal Care Community. She was born in Bethlehem on December 14, 1932; daughter of the late Vasil and Bertha (Lazorchak) Beleykanic­h. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Russell Hoysan, Sr. Olga was a member of St. Josaphat Ukrainian Catholic Church. She dedicated her life to her family and will be dearly missed by her children, Russell Hoysan, Jr. and his wife, Michele; Deborah Hoysan and her husband, Salvatore Nicrone; John Hoysan and his wife, Michelle; and Maryanne Gross and her husband, Billy-Joe; grandchild­ren, Christophe­r, Amanda, Cody, Ryan, and Jenna and great grandchild­ren, Liam and Caleb. Condolence­s may be offered at www.connellfun­ Lillian Florence Goldner, 93, of Allentown Pa, formerly of Plainedge LI NY, passed away peacefully on January 1, 2021, in the Hospice Unit of the Lehigh Valley Health Network. She was the loving wife of Dr. Malvin Goldner who preceded her death in 2012 after celebratin­g 64 years of marriage. Lillian was born on August 9, 1927 in New York, New York to the late Harry and Sophie Stone. Growing up in NYC, she attended the City College of New York. After marrying Malvin in 1948 and spending 5 years in Chicago the couple moved to Plainedge, Long Island where she managed his Family Medicine practice. As a longtime advocate for education, Lillian was elected to the Plainedge School Board in 1975 serving for many years as President. She later served on the Plainedge Library Board also as President. She was devoted to Massapequa General Hospital, serving as Director of Volunteers, President of the Medical Staff Auxiliar y and Patient Representa­tive. Lillian was a member of Temple Shirat Shalom. Born in New Brunswick, New Jersey he was the son of Ellsworth Hutchinson, Sr. and Donna (Lucia) Fraser. Ellsworth was the husband of Helen (Reilly) Hutchinson. He was a self-employed contractor who took great pride in his work. He was the husband of the late Ruth (Parker) Greig for 65 years before her passing in June of 2020. Born in Coaldale, he was the son of the late Howard Nathaniel and Olive (Jones) Heffelfing­er of Lansford. He graduated from Lansford High School in 1949, and earned a BS in Mechanical Engineerin­g from Drexel University. Richard worked for General Electric as a defense industry project manager, where he was granted multiple patents used in the NASA Space program. His passions and hobbies included skiing, boating, sports cars, Formula 1 racing, motocross, NFL football, and nature. And he was most happy when sharing them with his family. He is survived by three sons: Curtis (Jan) of Clearwater, ID; Richard (Bonnie) of Cocoa, FL; and Vance of Melbourne; daughter Lynn (Ron) Fox of Rockledge, FL; sister Jane Thomas Whipple of Hamden, CT; and brother Howard (Ann) Heffelfing­er of Coplay, PA.; four grandchild­ren, five great-grandchild­ren and many nieces and nephews. A private memorial was held in Florida. Norman H. Graver, Jr. Norman H. Graver, Jr., of Hokendauqu­a Drive, Northampto­n, died on Friday, January 1, 2021. He was the loving husband of Sharon (Mann) Graver for 47 years before her passing on March 30, 2018. He was the son of Norman H. Graver and Dorothy (Schall) Graver. Born on June 28, 1947 in Fountain Hill, PA. A graduate of Northampto­n High School class of 1965, then worked a career as an electricia­n finally retiring from EssrocItal­icement in 2017. For more than 30 years, he was the Treasurer of the Northampto­n County Federation of Sportsmen's Clubs, and the Southeast Division, Friends of Minsi Lake, a Delegate to the Pennsylvan­ia Federation of Sportsmen & Conservati­onists, and a Board Member of the Pennsylvan­ia Wildlife Federation, and an active member of Blue Mountain Fish and Game. Norman and his wife, Sharon, were active volunteers with the Northampto­n County Junior Conservati­on School, Inc. since 1984 serving in various capacities and as the long-time treasurer. Surviving are sister, Susan Warrick, many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, his great friend, Andrew Curtis of Pennsburg, PA, and more than 8,000 children whom have passed through the NCJCS, Inc. program under Norman and his wife's efforts and dedication to conservati­on and our hunting and fishing heritage.
