Election wasn’t rigged

The 2020 presidential election has been declared fair and valid by state and federal courts, Christopher Krebs, the former director of the Department of Homeland Security’s Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, former U.S. Attorney General William Barr and countless legislators.

However, Donald Trump persists in claiming the election was “rigged” while raking in donations to his super PAC fund. So why are some GOP legislators willing to play along? Blind ambition? Greed for future PAC fund backing? Unwillingness to stand up for a possibly unpopular truth?

None of these motivations is desirable in an elected representative. Furthermore, those voters willing to disenfranchise their fellow citizens should think carefully. Are you willing to sacrifice your vote should the situation be reversed? Beverly L. Springer
