Those grizzled explorers from the Appalachian Investigators of Mysterious Sightings (AIMS) reassemble for a salutary season dedicated to the memory of their founder, John “Trapper” Tice, who died in December 2019 after a lengthy illness. As the action resumes in “The Wolves of West Virginia,” the team reads a letter Tice left for them before his death, in which he set up a new adventure for them. They set out for West Virginia’s Tygart Valley, equipped with his journal and guided from the grave by their former leader. (Season Premiere) (N)
