Dixie cup plant in Forks to close

Georgia-Pacific announced Friday it would shut down its Dixie cup plant in Forks Township by the end of the year, putting 190 employees out of work.

What’s next? Georgia-Pacific cited reduced demand for to-go beverages during the pandemic.
