Republicans must reestablish party values
If neither impeachment nor the 25th Amendment can remove Trump from the presidency, the minimum action that the Republic Party can do is to remove him from any further leadership position. Let him form his own independent party.
I have been a lifelong member of the Republican party but vote for those individual candidates who represent decent values, whether Republican, Democrat or Independent. We have watched Donald J. Trump fracture and create division through intimidation, fear and lies.
Our Republican leaders allowed this mess to grow because they, too, had selfish ambitions. Many fellow Republicans agree with him because it has benefited their financial gains rather than standing up for the principles that make up the foundation of this great country.
If we truly want to “make America great again,” the Republican Party must reestablish its true principles and values and show what leadership really means to all Americans.
