Peter T. Leccia, 81 of Bethlehem, PA formerly of Wilmington, DE passed away peacefully on April 5, 2021, surrounded by his loving family. Born

July, 2, 1939, in Latrobe,

PA, he was the son of the late Peter A. and

Helen (Bleehash) Leccia. He graduated from St. Vincent College in 1961. Prior to his retirement, Pete worked as the general manager of Stanley's Tavern for 22 years. Pete was a member of St. John the Beloved Church and the Knights of Columbus Council. He always enjoyed cooking and did so for many of the church events, especially the Fish Fry.

Pete was a kind and gentle soul, who had a gift of bringing out the very best in everyone. He shared love and compassion with everyone he met. Pete was a loving, caring and giving husband, father and grandfathe­r. He lived a life that demonstrat­ed true happiness and believed success was found in the people in your life. There were few in his life that were not subject to some sort of practical joke along the way. In addition to his parents, Pete was predecease­d by his sister and her husband, Joan and Andrew Keefe.

Pete will be dearly missed by his wife of 59 years, Victoria A. (Hanna) Leccia; two daughters and their husbands, Vicky Lynn and Daniel Morris of Highlands Ranch, CO and Tracy and Michael Patton of Wind Gap, PA; his son and his wife; Peter and Stacy Leccia of Avondale, PA and eight grandchild­ren, Chad, Brandon, Wyatt, Amelia, Zakary, Hannah, Harrison and Harper. In addition to his immediate family, Pete's nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and acquaintan­ces were important to him. Pete took everyone into his heart.

A visitation will be held at the MEALEY FUNERAL HOMES, 2509 Limestone Road, Wilmington on Monday, April 19, 2021 from 10:30 to 11:30 AM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. John the Beloved

Church, 907 Milltown Road, Wilmington, DE 19808 at 12 Noon. Burial will be private.
