Kathleen A. Murgitroyde

Kathleen A. Murgitroyde, 66, of Macungie passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 6, 2021. She was the wife of Thomas P. Murgitroyde IV. They celebrated their 42nd wedding anniversary last November. Kathy was born in Philadelphia a daughter of the late Vincent L. and Mary A. (Kolpak) Cunningham. She received her MBA from Holy Family University. Kathy was currently an Insurance Sales Agent for United Health Care/AARP. She was formerly employed by Bell of PA and Verizon for 32 years, where she met her loving husband. Kathy treasured her trips to Disney World and taking cruises with her husband. Her grandchildren will always remember the great birthday cakes she made to celebrate their special days. Kathy was a lifetime student with a thirst for knowledge. She would go without to provide for anyone important in her life. Her unique sense of humor and laugh were contagious. Nothing made Kathy happier than spending time with her family.

Survivors: Husband; sons, Thomas P. Murgitroyde V and his wife Kerry of Emmaus and John P. Murgitroyde of Reading; siblings, Patricia Ivory, Mary Jane Liberatore and her husband Matthew, Vincent Cunningham and his wife Landra, Anne Pinder and her husband Martin; grandchildren, Thomas VI, Julianna, Lily, Emma; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Thomas Cunningham.

Services: Friends and relatives are invited to call from 7:00 - 8:30 PM on Monday April 12th at Stephens Funeral Home, Inc. 274 North Krocks Road, Allentown, PA. On Tuesday April 13th, calling will be from 10:00 - 11:00 AM at St Ann's Catholic Church 416 S 6th St., Emmaus, PA, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:00 A.M. Interment will follow in the Resurrection Cemetery, Allentown PA www.stephensfuneral.com.
