Motorcyclist killed in crash

An Allentown man died as the result of a motorcycle accident Friday night in west Bethlehem.

Eduardo Santiago, 35, was pronounced dead just after 9 p.m. Friday at St. Luke’s University Health Network-Fountain Hill, according to the Lehigh County coroner’s office.

Santiago was riding a motorcycle that struck a vehicle at about 8:30 p.m. at the intersection of West Market Street and 12th Avenue in Bethlehem.

The accident is under investigation by the coroner’s office and the Bethlehem Police Department.
