TSA precheck open enrollment

The Transportation Security Administration precheck returns to Lehigh Valley International Airport this summer, with open enrollment sessions operating in their mobile unit in the long-term parking lot, Lehigh Valley International Airport.

Appointments are available 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 7-14 and 9 a.m. to noon July 15. There are no weekend appointments. Go to www.identogo.com/precheck to schedule an appointment. Applicants will be required to pay a nonrefundable $85 fee; TSA precheck is valid for five years.

Requirements: Attendees must bring a government-issued photo ID with proof of U.S. citizenship (i.e. a passport or birth certificate; name on documents must match exactly) and complete a 10-minute fingerprinting process. Once approved, you will receive a known traveler number.

With TSA precheck, there is no need for travelers to remove shoes, 3-1-1 liquids, laptops, light outerwear or belts. TSA precheck has more than 450 lanes at over 200 U.S. airports.
