Youth fiddle competition

The Celtic Cultural Alliance is seeking participants up to age 18 for its annual Youth Fiddle Competition, to be held Sept. 25 at the Charles Brown Ice House in Bethlehem during the Celtic Classic. Also, a free Celtic fiddle workshop will be held at Celtic Heritage Hollow at Celtic Classic at 10 a.m. Sept. 26.

The fiddle contest focuses on Celtic fiddling styles, including Irish, Scottish, Cape Breton, Shetland and Galician. There are two age categories and three cash prizes, and medals will be given to the top three in each division.
