Hot weather, then rain coming

If you’ve been waiting for summer weather, wait no more. Through Monday we’ll see high temperatures in excess of 90 degrees, according to the latest forecast by the National Weather Service.

■ Monday: A chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2 p.m. Mostly sunny, with a high near 92 and light winds. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

■ Monday night: A chance of showers and thunderstorms before 8 p.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 70. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

■ Tuesday: A chance of showers and possibly a thunderstorm. Partly sunny, with a high near 87. Chance of precipitation is 60%.

■ Tuesday night: Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm before 8 p.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 69. Chance of precipitation is 60%.

■ Wednesday: A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly sunny, with a high near 88. Chance of precipitation is 40%.

■ Wednesday night: A chance of thunderstorms before 8 p.m. Partly cloudy, with a low around 66. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

■ Thursday: A chance of showers. Mostly sunny, with a high near 84. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
