Robert A. Nagle
Robert A Nagle (Bob), 99, of Allentown, PA, passed away November 29th, 2021, in the inpatient Hospice Unit of Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown, PA. He and his wife Elizabeth (Bette) (McNamara) celebrated 75 years of marriage on October 12th. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Harold and Carrie (Ebert) Nagle. Robert graduated from Allentown High School in 1941. He was drafted into the Army and served in the Signal Corp in Europe for 3 years during World War II. Upon his active duty discharge, he joined the Army Reserves and was called back to active duty in 1950 to serve stateside for 2 years during the Korean War. Afterward, he worked for Metropolitan Life Insurance for 29 years, retiring in 1977. He then worked 8 years in sales for Hobart. He was a member of American Legion, Henry Peter Post #576 and a former President of the Alton Park Lions
Club. Robert was a mason for 53 years, serving two terms as Worshipful Master of Barger Lodge #333 F & M, now Greenleaf Lodge #561. During his first term all four sons became Mason's at the same time. He was also a member of Scottish Rite Valley of Allentown Lehigh Consistory for 43 years. He was a member of Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church, Allentown, PA. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, playing pinochle and most of all, supporting the lives of his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Robert W and wife Christine, 11 grandchildren,
Stacey, Brent, Shannon, Melissa, Kyle, Sean, Stephen, Christopher, Matthew, Jessica and Chloe and 14 great
grandchildren, Landon, Elayna, Lyla, Avaline, Dean, Brynn, Emily, Lily, Kennedy, Amelia, Emily, Connor,
Collin and NovaLee. He was predeceased by parents, brothers Winfred and Nevin and sister Jean Stauffer (Roland).
Services: Wednesday, December 8th, at Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 17th & Hamilton Streets, Allentown, PA. A viewing will be held from 12:30-1:30 in the funeral home, followed by a Masonic funeral service. Interment in Highland Memorial Park, Allentown, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOPS). Masks MUST be worn, covering nose and mouth, regardless of vaccine status.
