Ruthann J. (Strohl) Rittle

Ruthann J. Rittle, 73, of Fullerton, passed away Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at Lehigh Valley Hospital. Celebrating 52 years of marriage, she

was the wife of Edward A. Rittle. Born in Coaldale Township, she was the daughter of the late Roger

R. Strohl and Frances J. (Snyder) Deganich.

Ruthann was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who took great pride and joy in her family. She enjoyed taking daily walks in the neighborhood and conversing with clients

at her husband’s business. She loved and enjoyed day trips to the casino with friends and family as well as vacationing in Wellsboro especially during the fall foliage. Ruthann was a dedicated employee for 22 years at Bon-Ton Distribution Center. Prior to that, she was part of the wait staff at popular eating establishments in the Lehigh Valley: Hess’s Patio, Bud’s Steakhouse and Chub’s Pub. Ruthann was a member of Saint Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church, Whitehall, Pennsylvania.

In addition to her husband Edward, she is survived by a son Edward G. Rittle and wife Christine of Germansville; daughter: Kelly M. and husband Michael Buskirk of Slatington; grandchildren: Samantha and Jake Rittle; Nicklaus and Brayden Buskirk; sisters: Kay Shiffert of Spring Hill, Fl, Carolyn Graver of Lehighton; brothers: Roger Strohl Jr and wife, Ann, of Glendale, AZ, Richard Strohl and wife, Patricia, of Lehighton; and nieces and nephews; predeceased by a sister Donna Stremensky.

Her Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am Monday February 7, 2022 in Saint Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church, 618 Fullerton Ave Whitehall, where

her family will receive guests beginning at 9:00 am. Interment will be at the convenience of her family.
