Rev. Daniel G. Ziegler,

89, of Slatington, passed away Monday, January

24, 2022 in his home, surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Jacquelene A. (MacLachlan) Ziegler to whom he would have been married 63 years on February 14. Born in Sellersvil­le, on June

27, 1932, Daniel was the son of the late Daniel K. and Caroline (Didden) Ziegler. He earned his Bachelors and Masters Degrees from Wheaton College in Wheaton, IL. Daniel earned his Masters of Divinity from Gordon Theologica­l Seminary in Wenham, MA. He earned his Doctorate of Ministry from Fuller Theologica­l Seminary in Pasadena, CA. Daniel was a minister within the Bible Fellowship Church denominati­on. He served as a congregati­onal pastor for 13 years and spent the remainder of his vocation as the Director of Church Planting Ministries for the denominati­on. Daniel was also an author and a church historian.

Survivors: In addition to his loving wife, Jacquelene; children, Daniel A. Ziegler and his wife, Wendy of Paynesvill­e, MN, Sarah K. Weaber and her husband,

Tim of Slatington, Rebekah C. Ziegler of Plainfield, NJ, Stephen L. Ziegler and his wife, Robin of Somerset,

NJ; sisters, Carol Snyder and her husband, Clyde of Gettysburg, Eleanor Ruch of Hatfield, Marjorie Cherry and her husband, Ned, of La Mirada, CA; 10 grandchild­ren; 6 great-grandchild­ren; predecease­d by his sister, Laura Cassel.

Service: A memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m., Saturday, February 5, 2022 at Whitehall Bible Fellowship Church, 3300 7th Street, Whitehall. The Ziegler family will receive guests immediatel­y following the service. Private interment will be held at Zionsville Bible Fellowship Church. The Heintzelma­n Funeral Home, Inc., Schnecksvi­lle is in charge of arrangemen­ts.
