Thomas Emerson Nonnemacher

-

Thomas Emerson Nonnemacher, a long time Emmaus resident, passed away April 15,

2022, at the age of

71. He was the son of the late Harvey

Jack and Christine (Roth) Nonnemacher. Tom completed his education at Emmaus High School in 1969. He loved sports, especially the Emmaus and Salisbury teams. As a long time Phillies

fan, he knew an amazing number of baseball statistics. He made many friends over his life and loved talking to people, especially on the phone in his later

years. He had a great memory for birthdays and special dates and always called to share his well wishes. He loved the large family gatherings and often reminisced about those happy times. In his younger years, “Tommy Ticket” sold raffle tickets and sandwiches for many nieces' and nephews' school or sports fundraisers. Everyone he knew was a potential sale! Tom is survived by sisters: Reneé wife of Michael Halm and

Alice Welsh of Macungie, and brothers: Jack Nonnemacher and wife Dianne of Emmaus,

Tim Nonnemacher of Quakertown, and Terry Nonnemacher and wife Martha of Littleton,

CO. He was pre-deceased by sister Judie Goff, brothers Gary, William (Burt), Barry, Ronald, and Michael. Uncle Tom will be remembered fondly by many nieces and nephews. A brief graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 21 at

2:00 PM in Emmaus Moravian Cemetery. A “Celebration of Life Picnic” will be held at a later date. In Tom's memory, donations may be made to Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250

Main St., Emmaus, PA 18049 to support the EHS Athletic Dept.
