Lehigh County Court Appointed Special Advocate volunteers gather informatio­n about the circumstan­ces of children who have been removed from their homes because of abuse and/or neglect. Calling all gardeners. Help is needed to help spruce up the flower beds at the Comfort Cottage for a few hours, twice a month, and keep them looking good throughout the growing season. The Comfort Cottage is a program of The Salvation Army Children’s Services where children in foster care visit with their biological families. Days and times are flexible.
