Deborah A. “Debbie” Hashagen, 67, East Allen Township, formerly of Old Bridge, NJ, peacefully passed away surrounded by love and family on Thursday, April 07, 2022. She was the wife of Jeffrey P. Hashagen, Sr. The couple would have celebrated 47 years of marriage on June 28th. Born in Perth Amboy, NJ, she was a daughter of

the late John Sr. and Maryann (Marinin) Lesko. A 1972 graduate of Sayreville High School, Debbie later attended Lehigh Carbon Community College where she

earned an Associate degree in Physical Therapy. Her career passion was to serve as a Physical Therapy Assistant and she was employed by the Hunterdon Developmen­tal Center in Clinton,

NJ. Debbie was a member of the Keystone Rally

Associatio­n, a soapbox derby organizati­on, which was among her favorite pastimes including gardening, photograph­y, and travel. Family was most important to her, and she cherished spending time with her grandchild­ren, dogs, and granddogs.

Survivors: In addition to her loving husband, Jeff, she will be dearly missed by her children, Jeffrey P. Hashagen, Jr. and wife, Dana, of Macungie, and Jennifer L. Hashagen and partner, Chris Saltmarsh, of Indian Harbour Beach, Florida; grandchild­ren, Maxon and Avery; brother, John Lesko, Jr. of Suffolk, Virginia; sister, Theresa Ruggiere of Forked River, NJ; her fur children, Lizzie and Jamie; nieces and nephews. Debbie was predecease­d by an infant

sister, Brenda.

Services: A memorial service in celebratio­n of Debbie’s life will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2022, at 2:30 P.M. in the GEORGE G. BENSING FUNERAL HOME, LLC, 2165 Community Drive, Route 946, in the Village of Moorestown – Bath, PA 18014. Friends and relatives are invited to

call on Saturday afternoon from 1:30 P.M. to

2:30 P.M. in the funeral home. Interment will be private.
