America On Wheels, Allentown needs volunteers for our educationa­l Task Force Committee. Beginning May 4 meetings will held be via ZOOM for 60 minutes for six months. This is to align educationa­l programs and develop transition plans from elementary, to middle, high and college or technical school. Minimum age 21. Help ArtsQuest throw Lehigh Valley’s biggest party at Musikfest 2022. Volunteers are needed to pour beer, work as cash conversion assistants, help at the soda booths, and even assist backstage. Assist Museum Teachers with the Burnside Plantation Century at Burnside Education Program. Lead educationa­l activities for elementary school children at a living history farm while in authentic costume. Training provided. Adults only. East Coast K9 Trials is an annual event held by the K9 Kop Project that raises money for law enforcemen­t K9s. Help in several areas is needed: set-up, break down, manage equipment, basket raffle, and help K9 officers or vendors. Great opportunit­y for companies, groups, families, or individual­s to volunteer for The Salvation Army Children’s Services’ Rock N Run 5K, 10K, and Kids’ Fun Run May 14 at Coca Cola Park. Have a blast while helping children impacted by foster care. Lots of different jobs are available from course marshal to food service to cheering section.
