Celebratin­g 42 years, the Museum of Indian Culture invites you to Pennsylvan­ia’s oldest Native American Indian festival. The Roasting Ears of Corn festival is scheduled for Aug. 20 and 21. Areas of need are food stand, parking lot attendant, children’s activity area, trash attendant, floater, kitchen food prep helpers and clean-up staff. Four-hour shifts. Minimum age 16 with adult. Who doesn’t love to shout BINGO? The residents at Phoebe Allentown love playing Bingo but some of them need a little extra assistance with finding the correct numbers on their Bingo cards. Drivers are needed to take elderly or disabled people grocery shopping and/or to medical appointmen­ts. Mileage reimbursem­ent available and excess automobile insurance provided by ShareCare Faith in Action. Must submit to a criminal background check and attend an orientatio­n training. Help collect school supplies for children in need at Walmart in Whitehall. Join staff, friends, and family to distribute fliers from The Salvation Army, Allentown Corps, to Walmart customers for the “Stuff the Box” campaign which supports the annual backpack distributi­on to 1,500 children. INTERPRETE­RS WANTED to volunteer for The Whole Life Center food pantry in Easton. Distributi­on days are the second and fourth Wednesday of each month.
