NBA should stay out of politics

How noble and patriotic of the NBA in their decision to not play basketball on Election Day this year. (The Morning Call, Aug. 17). The millionaire’s club has decided that they can persuade people to vote but they can’t persuade their fans to watch them on TV. That aside, is there a real Election “Day” any longer? Early voting, absentee voting, mail-in voting? Election Day has become a thing of the past and if progressive politicians had their way we’d be voting on our phones. Basketball players should play basketball.
