Low-income workers can’t afford electric vehicles

-

The Green New Deal people are talking about includes a time when electric cars will be the only ones produced.

The average worker at Wawa, Dunkin’, Sheetz, Weiss, Giant, Kroger’s grocery stores, Wegmans, Kohl’s, Harbor Freight and other businesses will never be able to afford an electric car. They get $15 per hour which adds up to $600 per week. With rent, groceries, insurance and other living expenses they cannot afford a new car today.

So when all cars being produced are electric and no gas-powered vehicles are being built what are these poor folks going to buy?

That is the question we all should be asking ourselves when we see what Washington is doing.
