Deadline extended for Lehigh Valley Top Workplaces nominations

Get them in by Sept. 30

Do you go into your grocery store every week, see smiling employees chatting and laughing, and think it seems like a pretty good place to work?

Perhaps you love your bank, where the tellers remember your names (and can look up your account numbers) and greet your dog with treats? Maybe you think it’s worth telling folks about.

How about your health care provider: a dentist or physical therapist? Do you always recommend them when someone puts out a call on social media?

Or maybe it’s your own job you love? Do you get home after a long shift and tell your partner about how good your day was? How your boss listened to you, you were able to solve a problem, you made a customer happy? Do you tell your friends they should work there? It’s not too late to tell the rest of the Lehigh Valley, too.

The deadline to nominate employers for The Morning Call’s 11th annual Lehigh Valley

Top Workplaces awards program has been extended to Sept. 30.

Any organization with 35 or more employees in the Lehigh Valley region is eligible to participate; it doesn’t matter if they’re publicly owned, private, nonprofit or government.

So far, more than 70 companies in the region have signed up to participate. Workplaces are evaluated by their employees using a short 24-question survey. Companies will be surveyed through October.

The winners will be honored at an awards ceremony in March, and be included in the annual Top Workplaces special section.

Energage, the research partner for the project, conducts Top Workplaces surveys for media in 61 markets and surveyed more than 2 million employees at more than 8,000 organizations in 2021.

Last year, Energage sent surveys to nearly 10,000 Lehigh Valley area workers at 55 area employers. Their responses were used to determine the 25 Top Workplaces in 2022.
