Richard (Dick) H. Arnold, 87, of Winter Haven, FL, formerly of Bethlehem, PA, passed away on August 8, 2022, which would have been his 63rd wedding anniversar­y. Born on April 4, 1935, in Friedensvi­lle, PA. He was the son of the late Harrison and Cecelia (Kehs) Arnold. Following his formal education, he proudly served in the US

Army 1st Cavalry Division, stationed in Korea, during peacetime. He earned the US Army Good Conduct Award and, almost 50 years later, was recognized for protecting our freedom by the Korean-American Cultural Foundation. Upon returning home, he was employed by Saucon Valley Country Club. Soon after, he began a 28-year career with Bethlehem Steel, working in the Beam Yards, Crane Operator, and retired as a foreman.

He enjoyed coaching Little League baseball with his 3 boys, as they were growing up. He also enjoyed camping and gatherings with his family, traveling in his RV, golfing and spending time with his 5 beloved grandchild­ren.

He is preceded in death by his wife: Helen (Chrinko) Arnold, who passed away September 28, 2004; one brother, Leonard Arnold; six sisters, Beatrice Erney, Dorothy Arnold, Kathryn Arnold, Evelyn Mastropier­i, and Joan Parry; and four brothers-in-law, Leroy Erney, Frank Mastropier­i, Al Cambiotti and Kenneth Parry. Dick will be lovingly remembered by his three sons and their wives: Richard and Karen Arnold, Roger and Susan Arnold and Daniel and Antiminia Arnold; three sisters, Jean Cambiotti, Gertrude Steinbach and her husband Joseph, and Jane Lenner and her husband John; and five grandchild­ren, Samantha Frack and her husband Jason, Tyler Arnold, Anthony Arnold, Austin Arnold, and Samuel Arnold.

A viewing will be held at Connell Funeral Home, Inc., 245 East Broad St., Bethlehem, on Saturday, August 27, 2022, from 12:00 pm until the time of the funeral service, at the funeral home, at 1:00 pm.

Interment will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Linden St., Bethlehem.
