Bach Choir to hold auditions

The Bach Choir of Bethlehem will hold new member auditions by appointment 4-6:30 p.m. Aug. 26 and Sept. 2 and 11 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Aug. 27 at the Heckewelder House, 440 Heckewelder Place, Bethlehem. Singers will participate in Christmas concerts in December, family concert in February, spring concert in March, and the 115th Bethlehem Bach Festival in May.

The audition consists of each singer performing one or two songs or arias of their choice. Some vocalization, and sight-reading. An accompanist is provided. High school vocalists are encouraged to audition for the Choral Scholars program and college students for the Collegiate Choral Scholars.

Rehearsal will be 7:309:30 p.m. Mondays in Fellowship Hall of the First Presbyterian Church of Bethlehem.
