Robert H. Lindenmoyer
Robert H. "WHITEY" Lindenmoyer, 77 of Northampton, PA, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, September 1, 2022, at Lehigh Valley Hospital Muhlenberg campus in Bethlehem, PA. Born January 27, 1945 in Allentown, PA, he was the son of the late Loretta Scheetz and step-son to the late Donald Scheetz. He was the husband and soulmate of Kathy A. (Luisser) Lindenmoyer with whom he shared 19 years of marriage this past March 22, 2022.
Robert attended Northampton High School, class of 1963. He served the Northampton Community as a 32 year career Officer and 23 year Detective with the Northampton Police Department, Northampton, PA. retiring in 2010. He formerly served as Constable for Northampton County and previously work for the Northampton Water Authority for 14 years prior. He was a member of Grace United Church of Christ, Northampton, PA. Robert was a former member of the fraternal order of Police LE-HAMPTON Lodge #35. He was a life time member and former volunteer firefighter with the Alliance Fire Co., Northampton, PA. Surviving along with his wife Kathy are, step-children; Eric Politi and wife Michelle of Slatington, PA, Lisa Politi, Bethlehem, PA and Katelyn wife of David Cardona, Northampton, PA two-step-grandchildren; Ayden and Sophia, Sister; Donna wife of Donald Hoffman, Northampton, PA; nephew; Daniel, daughter, Kelly Nikisher, son, Todd Lindenmoyer, 3 grandchildren and his beloved feline friend E.J. He was predeceased by sister, Sally Vannice and step-grandson Evan and adoptive parents/ Grandparents; Howard and Pearl Lindenmoyer. A Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday September 8, 2022 at Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Ave. Northampton, PA 18067. The family will receive friends from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM on Wednesday, September 7, 2022, and Thursday September 8, 2022 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM both at the Funeral Home.
Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Northampton, PA. Contributions: May be made to the Ronald McDonald House Charities or Grace U.C.C. Memorial Fund both c/o the funeral home.
