Dean A. Spadt, 69, of Northampto­n, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September

8, 2022, at Lehigh Valley HospitalMu­hlenberg. Born September 16, 1952, in Allentown, he is survived by his wife Colleen L. (Beil), with whom he celebrated 48 years of marriage. He was the son of

Edith (Heffelfing­er) of

Walnutport and the late Allen Spadt. Dean worked for Harold F. Beil, General Contractor, as a carpenter for 17 years. He then was a supervisor at SKF USA, Inc., a rolling bearings distributo­r for 30 years. Dean was a member and volunteer at Hope Lutheran Church, Cherryvill­e. He was involved in local baseball for over 50 years. After playing, he was a volunteer coach at the Lehigh Township Athletic Associatio­n teaching baseball and basketball to local youth. He also was a coach of the Northampto­n Legion Baseball Team that won numerous championsh­ips at the local, state, and national levels. In addition to his wife and mother, Dean is survived by his sons, Brian, Eric and wife, Stacy; grandchild­ren, Chase, Makenzie, and Dylan; sister-in-law, Tammy A. Beil; sisters, Denise

Moll and husband, Roland, Donna Stein and husband, Ray, and Gina Shaw and husband,

Eric; and nieces and nephews. Services: Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Sept. 17th at 11:00 a.m. at Hope Lutheran Church, 4131 Lehigh Dr., Cherryvill­e. Family and friends may

gather Saturday morning from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service in the church. Interment will be private. Arrangemen­ts are under the direction of Reichel Funeral Home, Northampto­n.
