Dean A. Spadt
Dean A. Spadt, 69, of Northampton, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September
8, 2022, at Lehigh Valley HospitalMuhlenberg. Born September 16, 1952, in Allentown, he is survived by his wife Colleen L. (Beil), with whom he celebrated 48 years of marriage. He was the son of
Edith (Heffelfinger) of
Walnutport and the late Allen Spadt. Dean worked for Harold F. Beil, General Contractor, as a carpenter for 17 years. He then was a supervisor at SKF USA, Inc., a rolling bearings distributor for 30 years. Dean was a member and volunteer at Hope Lutheran Church, Cherryville. He was involved in local baseball for over 50 years. After playing, he was a volunteer coach at the Lehigh Township Athletic Association teaching baseball and basketball to local youth. He also was a coach of the Northampton Legion Baseball Team that won numerous championships at the local, state, and national levels. In addition to his wife and mother, Dean is survived by his sons, Brian, Eric and wife, Stacy; grandchildren, Chase, Makenzie, and Dylan; sister-in-law, Tammy A. Beil; sisters, Denise
Moll and husband, Roland, Donna Stein and husband, Ray, and Gina Shaw and husband,
Eric; and nieces and nephews. Services: Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Sept. 17th at 11:00 a.m. at Hope Lutheran Church, 4131 Lehigh Dr., Cherryville. Family and friends may
gather Saturday morning from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service in the church. Interment will be private. Arrangements are under the direction of Reichel Funeral Home, Northampton.
