Veteran outreach event planned

State Rep. Jeanne McNeill will hold veterans outreach 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 26 at her district office, 1080 Schadt Ave., Whitehall.

A representative from the American Legion Service Office Outreach program will be in her office to provide information on education, health care, death benefits and other programs and services.

According to McNeill, appointments with the outreach specialist are usually available the third Monday of each month. Due to a scheduling conflict this month, the outreach specialist will not be available on Sept. 19. Instead, appointments are being accepted for Monday, Sept. 26 to offer this service.
