TSA pre-check open enrollment set

The Lehigh Valley International Airport, 3311 Airport Road, Hanover Township, Lehigh County, announces that TSA precheck open enrollment will be held 9 a.m. to noon and 1-5 p.m. Sept. 26-29 in the mobile unit in the long term parking lot and 9 a.m. to noon and 1-5 p.m. Sept. 30 through Oct. 7 in the Aviator Room, Main Terminal, Level 2. Weekend appointments are not available.

The public can schedule an appointment for the expedited screening program. Go to www. identogo.com/precheck. Applicants pay a nonrefundable $85 fee. TSA precheck is valid for five years. The expedited screening program enables identified low-risk air travelers a more efficient screening experience. With TSA precheck, there is no need to remove shoes, 3-1-1 liquids, laptops, light outerwear or belts.

Attendees must bring a government-issued photo ID with proof of U.S. Citizenship (i.e. a passport or birth certificate; name on documents must match exactly) and complete a 10-minute fingerprinting process. Once approved, you will receive a known traveler number.
