Here is a roundup of the top Lehigh Valley high school football games Friday night in Week 4.

Whitehall 37, Easton 14: Easton started with a three and out and then had a bad punt that Whitehall returned for a 23-yard touchdown by Mason Marencik-Delavalle. Easton’s defense came to play early, forcing a turnover on downs, but their offense gave the ball right back with an interception. Whitehall capitalized off the interception when quarterback Trey Dogmanits found Tony Bullock wide open in the end zone for a 32-yard score. Easton answered on the next drive, as sophomore running back William Day scored from three yards out to cut Whitehall’s lead to 14-7. Easton then tied the game at 14 heading into the half when Joseph Martinez found Juju Fears for a 31-yard touchdown pass. Whitehall retook the lead after Dogmanits threw a screen pass to Nigel Linton, and he took it 23 yards for a score to put the Zephyrs up 21-14. The Zephyrs kept their foot on the gas, scoring a 17-yard touchdown to take a 28-14 lead. After a bad snap on a punt for Easton that led to a safety, Whitehall added one more touchdown from Marencik-Delavalle to win the game 37-14.

Pleasant Valley 41, Dieruff 16:

Dieruff got on the board first in the first quarter, and after a two-point conversion, they took an 8-0 lead. It took until 1:05 left in the second quarter for anyone else to score, and this time it was Pleasant Valley, but their failed two-point conversion had them trailing 8-6 at halftime. Dieruff scored early in the third quarter and once again converted a two-point conversion, giving them a 16-6 lead. Pleasant Valley answered on their next drive and, after an extra point, trailed 16-13. With 24 seconds left in the third quarter, Pleasant Valley took the lead 20-16. Pleasant Valley added two more scores in the fourth quarter as they cruised to a 34-16 lead. Pleasant Valley added one more score late for the victory.

Stroudsburg 23, Pocono Mountain West 12:

After an early interception, Stroudsburg’s Jaiden Bermudez scored from 33 yards out to give the Mountaineers a 7-0 lead. Stroudsburg had a chance to score from the two-yard line, but Pocono Mountain West’s defense held strong, forcing a turnover on downs. The only issue was their offense somehow went backward after starting on their one-yard line, and after a

punt, Stroudsburg got back on the board. Andre Reames Jr. took a carry 36-yards to the house, giving Stroudsburg a 13-0 lead. Pocono Mountain West answered before the half, with quarterback Ian McHugh finding Will Mecca. The extra point was blocked, and Stroudsburg had a 13-6 lead heading into halftime. Both teams were scoreless in the third quarter, but Stroudsburg got some insurance in the fourth after junior kicker Nick Radoi nailed a field goal to extend the lead to 16-6. A pick-six by Adonia Quartley put Stroudsburg up 23-6. One final push from Pocono Mountain West led to a McHugh 1-yard touchdown run, but it was not enough to overcome their turnovers.

Emmaus 70, East Stroudsburg North 6:

It took one play for Emmaus to take control of the game, as Jake Fotta found Dylan Darville for a 22-yard score. Emmaus never looked back. Tylik Jarvis scored from seven yards out, and then Fotta

found Chase Fotta to give Emmaus a 21-0 lead in the first. Josiah Williams found Darville for a 40-yard touchdown, and then Reilly Bechtel scored from 21-yards out to extend Emmaus’ lead to 35-0, and they were still in the first quarter. Williams then found Jackson Lake for a 55-yard score, but East Stroudsburg North at least got on the board putting the score at 42-6. Williams kept his big night going, finding Rafael Tereo and then Elijah Fajardo for two more passing touchdowns. After another Josiah Banks touchdown for Emmaus, they went into halftime up 63-6. Emmaus added one more score in the third, extending their lead to 70-6 heading into the fourth quarter. Emmaus took their foot off the gas, and the mercy rule ended this one quickly, moving Emmaus to 4-0.

Northampton 69, William Allen 0:

On the game’s first play, Antonino Russo found Tymir Williams for a 40-yard touchdown. Northampton didn’t look back. Caden Henritzy scored to make it 14-0, and then touchdowns from Jaelan Richardson, Tristen Pinnock, and a blocked punt recovered in the end zone made it 35-0. Henritzy scored one more time, and then Pinnock did too before halftime, and Northampton went into the locker room up 49-0. Billy Stuhldreher scored from nine yards out in the third, and the Konkrete Kids continued their dominance up 56-0. Josh Garcia increased Northampton’s lead to 63-0 after a 16-yard touchdown run. Wesley Valera scored from 36 yards out. The Konkrete Kids kneeled on their PAT attempt, which I guess was out of respect for the game getting out of hand, even though they were already up 69-0.

Catasauqua 23, Mahanoy Area 0:

Neither team got on the board in the first quarter, but it was Catasauqua who broke the 0-0 tie after a 1-yard touchdown run with 1:23 left in the first half. Mahanoy Area went three and out, and then Catasauqua connected on a long touchdown pass to go up 14-0 with 16 seconds remaining in the second quarter. Mahanoy started the second half with another three and out, and Catasauqua once again capitalized on Mahanoy’s struggles. This time it was a blocked punt that went into the end zone, and Catasauqua went up 20-0. Catasauqua added a 30-yard field goal to go up 23-0, and then neither team was able to get points in the fourth quarter.
