NCC offers Industrial Maintenance Training Program
If you are a problem-solver, enjoy fixing things and working with your hands, then a high-paying career in industrial maintenance may be for you.
Northampton Community College is offering a 10-week, accelerated Industrial Maintenance Training Program, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays, Oct. 3 through Dec. 8 at the Fowler Family Southside Center, 511 E. Third St., Bethlehem. Funded by the PA Department of Community and Economic Development, the program is free to qualified candidates.
In the program, participants will learn the foundational skills of industrial maintenance that will equip them for entry-level positions or apprenticeships in this growing field. Foundational skills being taught include blueprint/schematics reading, electrical and mechanical concepts, trouble-shooting, and more. Participants will also earn their OSHA-10 certification.
