Allentown making changes to Halloween Parade

The city is canceling its traditional Halloween parade, billed as the oldest Halloween parade in the country. In its place, the city will hold a walking parade from Ninth and Hamilton streets to the Arts Park.

What’s next? The walking parade will be held Oct. 29 and a Day of the Dead festival afterward at the Arts Park in Allentown.
