DA confirms loaded handgun prompted lockdown at Allen

A 14-year-old Allen student brought a loaded semi-automatic handgun into the high school last week, prompting the school to go into lockdown, the Lehigh County district attorney’s office confirmed Wednesday.

What’s next? The student admitted to the allegations

Thursday, was adjudicated delinquent, and was remanded to a juvenile facility.
