NCC offers online pharmacy technician program

As part of one of the fastest growing fields in the health care industry, pharmacy technicians play a vital role in supporting licensed pharmacists through duties in accordance with state rules and regulations. Northampton Community College’s Online Pharmacy Technician program is excellent for those seeking an entry-level position in a retail pharmacy setting or those working in the field who would like to expand their employment opportunities.

In as little as 30 hours, the NCC Pharmacy Technician Training and Exam Preparation program prepares students for the CPhT certification exam. Those who pass the ExCPT or PTCE exam are granted the title of Certified Pharmacy Technician. The ExCPT Exam is offered through the National Health Career Association and is NCCA approved.

The program runs online 7:3010 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays Oct. 11 to Nov. 17. The fee for the program is $795. The exam fee of $117 is not included in the tuition.
