Megan M. Focht

Megan M. Focht, 33, of Wilkes-Barre, passed away on Thursday, September 22, 2022. Born in Fountain

Hill, she was the daughter of Gale D. (Reph) Focht and

fiancé, Scott Leiby, of Lehigh Township, and Stephen T. Focht and companion, Wendy Flannery, of Bangor. Megan was a 2007 graduate of Northampton High

School and attended Northampton Community College where her focus was on early childhood education. She loved children and she was passionate about teaching and working with them. Megan also loved nature and enjoyed snowboarding, hiking and spending time outdoors.

Survivors: In addition to her loving parents, she will be dearly missed by her brother,

Pierce Focht of Lehigh Township; aunts and uncles; cousins; companion, Michael Malone of Wilkes-Barre, and her pet dog, Nahla. Megan was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, John A. and Elva (Coffin) Reph.

Services: A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements have been entrusted to the GEORGE G. BENSING FUNERAL HOME, LLC, in the Village of Moorestown – Bath.
