Henry Salvatore Kinney
Henry Salvatore Kinney, 83 of Bethlehem, passed away on September 28, 2022 at
ProMedica Hospice, Bethlehem. He was born on August 20, 1939 in Herkimer, NY to the late Henry and Catherine (Onorato) Kinney.
Henry was a 1958 graduate of Frankfort-Schuyler High School. He served in the US Navy during the Vietnam Conflict on the USS Massey from 1961 – 1965, which included the Navy Reserves. Henry was employed by the former Fuller Company, FOOD LANE, Rickel Home Centers and Sears. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers, Penn State and New York Yankees fan, as well as of his grandchildren’s sports and other activities.
Henry volunteered for Musikfest for 25 years. He was a member of Saints Simon & Jude Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus, Bethlehem.
His family would like to thank the staff at ProMedica and Heartland Hospice for the love and care shown to Henry during his illness. Irma Foschi-Unger (Robert); companion: Nan Stephens. Predeceased by brother Nicholas Kinney; sister, Mary Jane Vallese; nephews: Jeff Vallese & James Reif.
Service: Family and friends are invited to call 9:30-10:30 a.m. Saturday, October 8, 2022 at the Connell Funeral Home, Inc.-245 East
Broad Street-Bethlehem followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at Saints Simon & Jude Catholic Church, 730 West Broad Street-Bethlehem. The interment with military
honors will conclude services at the Church Hill Cemetery, Martins Creek.
