Thomas J. Andrew

Thomas J. Andrew, 75, of Emmaus passed away peacefully on September 30, 2022 at Rittenhouse Village where he resided with his wife, MaryAnn. They celebrated 54 years of marriage on September 28th. He was born on February 19, 1947 to the late Anderson and Dorothy (Kametz) Andrew. He graduated from Emmaus High School and Bethlehem Business College. He married the love of his life, MaryAnn Kavcak on September 28, 1968. He served in the U.S. Army as a Meteorological Observer in Las Cruces, NM at White Sands Missile Range. He worked for PPL for 42 years in Investor Services. He was a life-long member of St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Emmaus where he served as a Eucharistic Minister and a Lector. He enjoyed going on Malvern Retreats and volunteering for parish events. Survivors: He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, MaryAnn; Son, Chris and wife Marie; daughter, Jen and her husband Anthony O’Hara; daughter, Erin and husband Padraic Colley; daughter, Alyssa and Significant Other, Bill; 10 beautiful grandchildren; siblings Donna, Marilyn, Joe, and Dolores; brother in law’s Fr. John Kavcak and Thomas Kavcak. Services: Viewing, 6-8 pm. Friday, October 7, at Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 225 Elm St., Emmaus. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 am on Saturday, October 8, at St. Ann’s Catholic Church, Emmaus. Interment will be private. Contributions: In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. Ann’s Catholic Church Emmaus or Ascend Hospice.
