Friday’s game marked just the fifth meeting between Parkland and Pleasant Valley. The Trojans led the series 3-1, including a 37-0 meeting in the 2012 District 11 4A championship game, their most recent game. The Bears’ lone win was a 21-14 triumph in 1994 in the first meeting in the series.
