Man capable of worldwide peace

Recently CNN reported that Ukraine agreed to essentially ask permission of the United States before it bombs certain targets in their war with Russia. That in exchange for America sending them some armaments capable of very long range use. I had to ask myself, Who’s war is this? The answer seems to be, not just Ukraine’s. And in a way I’m OK with that.

Without the help of NATO countries I think the war might be over and Russian President Vladimir Putin the victor. And Putin cannot be allowed to be the victor. No matter what it might take to achieve that.

I thought that I just might live long enough to see a total end to crises like this. Because despite all of the evidence that seems to point to a contrary, I believe that mankind can rise above the urge to war and destruction and make a true and lasting effort at permanent world peace. I believe it , because I can imagine it. Maybe I will ask Santa or the entity up wherever for just such a thing. It can’t hurt.
