Volunteer Center sets training

Volunteer Center of the Lehigh

Valley will offer a nonprofit board service training program called LEAD Now. This program is designed to introduce newcomers to nonprofit board service; provide helpful insights for current nonprofit board members and create a network of potential board candidates for nonprofits.

LEAD Now is a five-part training program that will be held virtually 3:45-5:15 p.m. Wednesdays Oct. 19 through Nov. 16. The program includes “Nonprofit Board Service 101,” “Understanding Nonprofit Legal Issues,” “Nonprofit Finances — What You Need to Know,” “Philanthropic Fundraising & the Role of the Board,” and “Understanding Diversity, Equity & Inclusion on the Board.”

Registration is required. To register, go to form.jotform.com/vclv/ lead-now-fall-2022. The price is $69 per class; $50 per class if you purchase three or more.
