The region’s first and only medical school gives Lehigh Valley students a unique opportunity to stay here and become physicians. Take Adriana Facchiano. She graduated from Parkland High School and Moravian University. Now in her fourth year at our Temple/St. Luke’s School of Medicine, she’s hoping to continue her residency in emergency medicine and stay local. After all, we’re the nation’s top teaching hospital, and it would cap a journey for Adriana that’s only made possible by the region’s only medical school.
