Elizabeth Ann “Nanny” (Hines) Charters, 77, of Lower Macungie Township, passed away October 14, 2022, in her home, surrounded by her family. Born September 28, 1945, in Germantown, Philadelphia County, Nanny was the daughter of the late Gerard Patrick and

Mary Eileen (Callahan) Hines. She was a longtime volunteer at Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Center and a member of Life Church, Macungie. Survivors: Children, Deborah Ann Zolotareva (Andrei) of Allentown, Julie H. Steigerwalt (Erin) of Fogelsville, Timothy P. Charters (Kelly) of Emmaus, Sandra R. Binder (Ryan) of Weatherly; brothers, Robert M. Hines (Marika), Gerard P. Hines (Rose); sisters, Donna M. Hughes (Michael), Eileen M. Hines; grandchildren, Ekaterina, Carson, Makiah, Daniel, Leah, Abigail, Ethan, Jadan, Mya, Chase, Gavin, Adalia; predeceased by sister, Patricia E. O’Brien.

Service: A celebration of Nanny’s life will be held 4:00 p.m., Friday, October 21, 2022 in the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 326 Main Street, Hellertown. Family and friends may pay their respects from 3:00 - 4:00p.m. Friday in the

funeral home.
