John A. DeMelfy

John A. DeMelfy, 74, of Allentown, died Friday, October 14, 2022 at Lehigh Valley Inpatient Hospice, Allentown. He was the loving husband of Sandra (Peifly) DeMelfy.

Born October 24, 1947, in Hazleton, he was the son of the late Anthony and Helen (Pisarick) DeMelfy.

For many years, he worked as a truck salesman for Lowe and Moyer Trucks and previously worked for A.B. International Trucks and Mack Trucks.

He was a founding member of Mopar Madness of the Lehigh Valley.

Surviving with his wife are sons, Christopher DeMelfy (Betsy) of Coplay and Thomas DeMelfy (Stephanie) of Allentown; grandchildren, Natalie, Samantha, Mikayla, Carina, Casey,

Cameron, Josh, Emily, Hailee, and Sevryn; brother, Anthony DeMelfy (Jane) of Allentown. Friends and family are invited to call from 5:007:00 PM, Wednesday, October 19th at Trexler Funeral Home, 1625 Highland St., Allentown and again from 10:00-11:00 AM, Thursday, October 20th followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM. Interment to follow in Grandview Cemetery, Allentown.
