CarolJean Lehr, 75, of Alburtis, passed away Thursday, October

13, 2022, in her home, surrounded by her family. She was the beloved wife and best friend of David E.

Lehr. They would have celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversar­y in December 2022. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Gloria D. (Esposito) and George O. Boardman II. CarolJean was a graduate of William Allen High School and received her bachelor's degree in

Art Education from Kutztown University. She was an art teacher in the Allentown S.D. before becoming a dedicated homemaker to raise her family. Later she worked as a billing agent for ophthalmol­ogist Dr. George McGinley for many years before retiring in 2008. Her lifelong passions were art and family.

Survivors: Husband, David; Daughters: Dr. Shannon C. Lehr and her husband Dr. James A. Lesniewski of Dunn Loring, VA, Dr. Dana E. Lehr and her husband Dr. Philip J. Puxley of Arlington, VA, Jolene C. Lehr and her husband Thomas A. Price of Arlington, MA;

Grandchild­ren: Kathryn A. Lesniewski, Zachary D. Lesniewski, Oliver T. Price, Madeleine E.

Lehr Puxley; Sister: Patricia A. Kleman and her husband Peter of Allentown; Brother: John W. Boardman and his wife Karen of Orefield. CarolJean was predecease­d by her brother, George O. Boardman III.
