Adolf (Ed) Pete

Klova, 90, of Allentown, PA, passed away October 10,

2022. He was the beloved husband of his dear devoted wife of 65 years, Heidi

(Hoss) Klova. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Patrenella (Reminaita) Klova, his youngest son, Michael Joseph Klova, and his twin brother, Robert Paul Klova. Ed was born in Easton, PA, in his parents' home on Chidsey

St. After graduating from Easton High School, he was attending the Philadelph­ia School of

Art when he was called to serve during the Korean conflict. He elected four years in the

US Navy, proudly serving in the Seabees in the Philippine­s, Hawaii and California.

Ed graduated from Kutztown University and studied at The Baum School of Art and The Ocean City Art Center. He began his art career in advertisin­g with Hess's Department Store as

a layout design and production artist. Klova's unique style and energy of 35 years saw him promoted to Vice-President of Advertisin­g. His efforts helped shape the image of Hess's before it was sold to The Bon-Ton.

Retiring in 1995, Ed's passion for art continued to expand with community workshops, serving as Vice-President and President of the Bethlehem Palette Club. He created the East Penn Watercolor Painters' Guild and was a member of the Parkland Art League and the Lehigh Art Alliance. Ed's love of art and the people he inspired was a true gift. He was a dedicated member of The Knights of Lithuania which linked his heritage to the ancestry of his parents and his strong religious values. He was a member of St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church. His unconditio­nal love for his family, friends and stories of the people that touched his life will be truly missed.

He will be remembered by his wife, Heidi (Hoss) Klova, his sons, Robert J. Klova and Jeffery P. Klova, his daughters-in-law, Michele and Teryl, along with his grandchild­ren, Elyse, Amy and Stephen, and niece, Jill (Klova) Bartek and husband, Tom, and their daughter, Malia.

A celebratio­n of his life will be held on

Friday, October 21st, at 11:30am, at the Zentz Community Center at Fellowship Community in Whitehall, PA. Contributi­ons in his memory, in
