Rep. Schweyer to hold veterans outreach

State Rep. Peter Schweyer will hold a veterans support program 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 21 at his office, 1501 Lehigh St., Suite 206, Allentown.

A veterans outreach specialist from the American Legion will be available to discuss programs and services available for veterans and their families, as well as the application process for the different services. The specialist will also be available to discuss pensions, other forms of compensation, educational opportunities, health care and benefits.

Legion membership is not required to take advantage of the help. Those interested in meeting with the adviser must schedule an appointment through Schweyer’s office by calling 610-7916270.
