Bird seed sale at environmental center

The Kettle Creek Environmental Education Center, 8050 Running Valley Road, Hamilton Township, will hold its fall bird seed sale 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 22. The sale will feature Aspen Song Wild Bird Seed blends. Also available will be black oil sunflower seed, thistle, suet and several other specialty mixes.

Also being offered are Droll Yankee and other feeders, some of which are squirrel proof. Proceeds from the sale of bird seed and feeders go to support environmental education programs. Extra bird seed will be available on the day of the sale on a first-come, first-served basis 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. For information, call 570-629-3061.
