Anthony J Maioriello Jr., passed peacefully in his sleep on October 4, 2022. Anthony (Tony) was born in Berlin, Germany on November 21, 1930 to Hilde and Anthony J Maioriello Sr. His father returned to the US to set up a home for his family. Anthony Jr., and his mother came to the US in 1933. He spent his childhood in the Bethlehem/Hellertown area of PA. He graduated from Moravian College with a degree in Chemistry. Tony served in the US Army during the Korean conflict. Some of his fondest memories were his parachutin­g experience­s, including volunteer jumps to earn extra money so he could afford an engagement ring for his soon-to-be wife Beatrice Gale. Tony and Bea were married for 63 years before her passing August 4, 2019.

Tony worked for Bethlehem Steel for over 40 years. During that time, he raised his family and made a beautiful home on South Mountain in the Lehigh Valley. He was often mixing cement and whistling while doing yet another project on the property. Tony and Bea also spent nearly 30 years in retirement in Mesa, Arizona.

Anthony is predecease­d by his beloved wife Beatrice. He is survived by his three children, Leonard (Dorey) Maioriello, Celeste (John) Van Ewyk, and Donna (Dennis) McManus; grandchild­ren Nicolle Maioriello, Jimmy Maioriello, Ryan Newhouse, Matt Newhouse; Meghan (Dan) Gonzalez, Caitlan McManus, Keeley McManus. He is also survived by his brother Larry (Ruth) Maioriello, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

There will be a memorial service in the spring of 2023 for Anthony at the Hellertown Cemetery,

PA where he will be interned next to his wife.
