Police on lookout for suspect after stabbing

Easton police said a dispute led to a stabbing early Saturday morning in the city’s West Ward neighborho­od.

Officers were called to the area of Pearl and North Oak streets at about 1 a.m. and found a 43-yearold man with a stab wound on his back, police said. He was transporte­d to a hospital and is expected to survive, police said.

Police said the suspect is a Black male in his 20s, about 5-foot-3 with a chipped front tooth. He was wearing a red baseball cap, a dark-colored hoodie and dark-colored pants. He was last seen running west in the 700 block of Pearl Street.
