First lady Jill Biden to campaign for Susan Wild

With the 2022 campaign entering its final week, the White House announced that first lady Jill Biden will make a stop in the Lehigh Valley on Wednesday.

Biden is scheduled to appear with U.S. Rep. Susan Wild and U.S. Rep. Madeleine Dean in Allentown at 7 p.m. She will deliver remarks in support of the two candidates who are up for reelection.

Wild is in a tight race with business owner Lisa Scheller for the 7th District seat, which covers the Lehigh Valley.

Before coming to the Valley, Biden will be in Pittsburgh for a rally with the Pittsburgh Federation of Teachers and the Pennsylvania State Democratic Party.
